Vivian holds the world record for largest measured hailstone. On July 23, 2010, a hailstone measuring 8 inches in diameter, 18.62 inches in circumference, and 1.93 pounds in weight, fell during a severe storm that impacted the town.[3] This broke the previous record for largest hailstone held by Aurora, Nebraska since 2003. @Curionic
