Samhainophobia is currently the only holiday phobia in the medical literature. The cause of this fear is its unique tradition of Halloween relative to other holidays. Halloween has scary rituals associated with it, including ghosts, witches, cats, and cemeteries, all have fears associated with it found in medical dictionaries.
