"Tina Turner" relinquished her U.S. Citizenship and is now a Swiss Citizen
On January 25, 2013, it was announced that Turner had applied for Swiss citizenship,[131][132] and that she would relinquish her U.S. citizenship.[133][134] In April, she undertook a mandatory citizenship test which included advanced knowledge of the German language and of Swiss history. On April 22, 2013, she was issued a Swiss passport and is now a citizen of Switzerland.[135] Turner signed the paperwork to give up her American citizenship at the U.S. embassy in Bern on October 24, 2013.[134]@Curionic
